Hello folks,
Since I started the “Curitiba in English” project, I have made a lot of new friends.
Lots of greetings and messages for success are flooding our e-mail in-box and I feel my responsibility increasing towards the great expectation it brings out.
Something like, “Our next edition must be the best...and it will”.
The directors of the Curitiba Convention & Visitors Bureau have honoured me with an invitation to take part in the group of companies that maintain the institution and I am applying for it. A permanent contact with people dedicated to developing tourism opportunities in Curitiba will certainly meet our purposes and open doors for a wide range of business deals.
There is something else that makes me very glad. I have received the collaboration of very competent native English speakers who amicably spend their time correcting and translating articles. This means that we can be sure the English language students of Curitiba are reading excellent essays about their city in English. They surely feel proud of it and use the Internet to send out copies of our tabloid to their friends all over the world.

There is no doubt the English language reaches everywhere and has become an appropriate tool to attend the demand for socialisation on the employment market and relationship “chats” with people anywhere.

Use it, be friendly... but smart enough to separate the good approaches from the dubious ones.

God bless you.

Cheers!
