The International Conference on Innovative Cities - CICI2010 - held by the Fiep System in the second week of March 2010, was a great success in all aspects. During the four-day event, about 3,500 people participated in 15 daily conferences, hearing the ideas, experiences and proposals of 105 speakers from around the world. “Curitiba in English” was present and takes great satisfaction in publishing in this issue a few topics that received the audience’s attention and applause.We hereby invite other participants and national or international speakers interested in publishing their material for our readers’ perusal to send us items that embrace the innovative cities initiative; thus, as much as possible, encouraging this movement that aims to bring sustainable development to mankind.
We are fully aware of our limitations in the dissemination of such a grand project, but we are doing our part.
