Edition 21
Hello Folks,In this edition we celebrate the International recognition for the administration of Curitiba.
Curitiba has won the Globe Sustainable City Award. We can proudly state we have had people concerned with nature, science, respect and clear thoughts towards the environment among our universities, society and municipal institutions, for many years.
We thought we could help readers to understand what it is all about by publishing a special report on the theme, so we invited journalist Silvia Oliveira to write about the Biocidade Programe. Even not being her expertise as she loves challenge, she was keen to make it. She dove into the theme and brought us the main parts of Curitiba’s sustainability project.
While worried about articles for this edition, I was assisted by one of my dearest collaborators, Mr. Michael Rubin a New Yorker now living in Curitiba, with an interesting essay on the Brazilian famous medium Chico Xavier.
